Many NYEBN members have asked me in the past how our group was able to expand so fast in such a short amount of time. To thoroughly answer this question, we feel the need to do a special seminar. Please join me to welcome the Meetup founder, Scott Heiferman, as our special guest at this event. Here is how the event is scheduled.

6:15 - 6:30 PM - Registration
6:30 - 7:30 PM - Interview with Scott Heiferman

Details: I will be interviewing Scott Herferman in front of our audience. Scott will be answering questions regarding Meetup and other questions addressed by the audience. The central theme of the interview is "how to build a community that lasts". You can send us your questions in advance so I can ask Scott during the interview. We only accept questions from those of you on the "Yes" RSVPs. So once you've RSVPed for the event, you can send your questions to Sue Risdal at Susan at WebStudio13 dot com.

7:30 - 8:30 PM - A full one hour PowerPoint presentation by Andrew Ran Wong on how to build a viable community the viral way
8:30 - 9:00 PM - questions/networking

We are still trying to pin down the final location for this meeting. Chances are that we will be using a midtown conference space that's conveniently located. But I don't exclude the possibilities of using the Microsoft office since they have first class equipment for presentations. Please provide your full name when you RSVP. An email will be sent to all the attendees in the next week or so with regard to the meeting location. And the new location will be updated on the meetup page as well.
